Programmable clock division with 1:2 fanout

The SY89875UMG divides an incoming clock by 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 and drives the result to two LVDS outputs. Divider ratios are set through parallel programming, so one part covers several clock domains on the same board.

Any-differential input with internal termination

It accepts CML, LVPECL, LVDS and HSTL inputs, DC- or AC-coupled, using on-chip termination and a dedicated VT pin. That cuts external termination components and simplifies layout around high-speed signals.

AC performance is guaranteed over temperature and voltage at more than 2.0GHz, with rise and fall times under 200ps and within-device skew under 15ps. Total jitter is below 10ps peak-to-peak and cycle-to-cycle jitter below 1ps RMS.

Low-voltage operation with control inputs

The device runs from a 2.5V supply (2.375V to 2.625V) across −40°C to +85°C. TTL/CMOS inputs handle select and reset, and an output disable function lets you gate the clock when needed.
