The MP2229GQ-Z is a step-down converter with inbuilt power MOSFETs that operate at high frequencies. This provides an innovative, small-size solution for achieving a continuous output current of 6 amps over a wide input-supply range. The current-mode operation feature enables quick transient response and simple loop stabilisation. Over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD) are also standard features within the MP2229GQ-Z.
